The Running Mustangs

Updated: May 20

Do you enjoy running? If so join the “Running Mustangs”! Our school’s cross-country team has a total of 20 athletes this year. “In cross-country, we compete in invitational meets and we compete against a lot of other teams from other schools that are in the valley, outside of the valley, and sometimes even out of state at the really big meets. At the end of the season during Championship Season, we will be focusing on competing against the teams in our league," described Coach Wilson. The Running Mustangs train all week before a meet so they can make sure they are in peak physical condition. That means you will be very healthy and you can run off stress. The team is always accepting of new players during the season so if you like running then come on out and talk to Ms. Wilson. GO MUSTANGS!
