Minarets Boys Basketball program has a different playing field of trust amongst each other. They show it by playing unified on the court and even out of the gym whether it's bonding at lunch or even going on field trips together as a team. One of their most recent was an eight hour drive all the way up to Bishop, California where they stayed for three days playing two back to back games Friday and Saturday.

The team left early Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. arriving to their hotel around 5:00 p.m. and focused mindset for a game against Mammoth High School at 7:30 p.m. Senior Marco Ramirez explained, “Being on an eight hour bus ride with your friends really brings a bond out that transfers onto the court; letting someone use you as a pillow to trusting he will hit that shot in the game”.

The games against both Mammoth and Bishop were fought hard with Minarets winning against Mammoth but lost against a close five point game to Bishop. Junior Phoenix Bedolla described, “Losing games isn't fun but we sometimes we need them. Taking that Bishop loss really brought something out in us”.
