Each year, the World Ag Expo in Tulare welcomes more than 100,000 professionals to learn more about trends, technology, Animals, and more in the agriculture industry. This year, several students and staff from Minarets made the trip down to Tulare to participate in the World Ag Expo. We have spoken with some staff and students who attended here's how the largest annual outdoor agricultural exposition is summarized by our community members of minarets!
Lucas Pickens attended the event with his main attraction being the tractor aspect of the event, it's a good thing he went for that because it ended up being his favorite part of the event. He described it as, “huge exhibition,” as well as elaborating with, “Like bigger than Taylor Swift,” which absolutely gives an image of how packed and active it was from his perspective.
Ms. Sani and Mr. Barrientos were the attending teachers according to Lucas Pickens and as we can’t get communication with them it looks like they did a good job because no students were lost.
Sawyer Encinas went to the World Ag Expo as well with his main attraction being all the equipment showcased and the chance to buy gear at a discount. When asked the best part of him attending he stated, “The best part was being able to get inside every vehicle there.” The World Ag Expo really provided Sawyer with a lot of Auto aspects!
As we round into the middle of the semester it seems the Ag community is getting plenty of activity and huge community involvement both locally and not. From both animals to machines it gives every agricultural involved kid an experience!
