Girls Soccer Senior Night

By: Brylee Mason

Girls Soccer Senior Night was definitely full of tears and joy. This year on our girl’s soccer team we had three seniors. These seniors consist of Eva Clinton, Lacey Bebout, and Cecille “Cece” Pedersen. All of these seniors are so sad to be leaving Minarets but so happy to start their next chapter.

I chose to interview Cecille about her soccer year. Cecille is an international student, hailing from Denmark. Cecille has played soccer since she was four years old and has enjoyed every moment of it. She chose to play soccer because when she was young she would always find a soccer field nearby and would just go there more often and gain a love for it.

I asked “Who is your biggest inspiration?”

Cece said “My biggest inspiration is my dad” She enjoys her dad for his kind heart and his outlook on life, but also how he pushes her. She has been blessed with being at Minarets because she has gained her best friends through soccer and they are all inseparable. Cece's favorite part about this team and soccer is all the bus rides with their uncontrollable laughs.

During this year Cece learned a lot about soccer. She enjoyed every moment and advice she was given during the season. Cece doesn't plan on playing soccer when she graduates as though she did enjoy every minute that she played.
