Freshmen Representatives

By Seth Clark

The leadership is wrapping up their search for the newest batch of Freshmen Representatives for the 2022-23 school year. At the end of the first week of school posters and announcements started to show up online and around campus announcing that the leadership team had started its hunt for its Freshman Representative. The leadership marketing team went around during pro periods describing the requirements and application process for applying to the leadership team. The freshmen were required to make a flier and video as a part of the application which could be very daunting at the thought of filming a video to be seen by staff and students, but some brave students did step up to the challenge and finished their applications. After two extensions on time for the application for more freshmen to apply, the time has finally come to an end.

In the next following days, the representatives will be selected. Currently we do not know if it will be an anonymous selection or if it will be an election, though no matter what they're will be an announcement of who won and the freshmen will join our schools leadership team. When interviewed, Charley VonBerg said this about applying “The application was straightforward but it was a new experience and it was Nerve racking”. When asked if she questioned if she should, she stated “I had second thoughts because it was a little embracing but I realized it was worth it in the end”. The freshman and the leadership team are excited for the Freshmen Representatives to be decided and are ready to welcome them to their team.
