One of the most unique sports at Minarets is our Equestrian Team, which is one of the few teams in the state of California. It is made up of eight talented girls, including freshman Hailey Anderson, sophomores Kaileah Sandstorm, Carolyn Faye, Abigail LaSpada, junior Lillian Kier, and seniors Maegan Redman, Tati Guerra, and Madeleine Vellandi. These ladies are led by Coach Mandi Pearson, an alumni of Minarets High School and one of the founding members of the Equestrian team.

Freshman Hailey Anderson shared that joined the team because of her love of horses and the memories of the Equestrian Team running in during her brother's football games. She is now part of this tradition has she helps run in the flags for the National Anthem ceremony at the start of the Varsity game. They also participate in other events throughout the school year, including parades.

If you would like to support the Equestrian team, senior member Tati Guerra and senior Rhett Samper are putting on the Harvast Gymkhana on Nov. 24, 2019. All proceeds will go towards the Minarets Equestrian team.
