This year's world series was one for the books. Most baseball fans know that the Atlanta Braves have not been doing the best in past years, therefore it was quite a surprise that this year was honestly a great one. The Braves became a team during January of 1871, which means they have been in the game for a long time. Most of the U.S. was rooting for them and they pulled it out and won.
The Braves have moved along through many places and cities throughout the years. They have worked hard for their win this year and it shows through how hard they played. In recruiting new people from teams that they went up against in the semi-finals this year, it was difficult to see how the new players would put up. Joc Pederson, who was on the Dodgers previously, was drafted to the Braves this year. It must have been difficult for him to go against his old team in the semi-finals, but he ended up being one of the strongest players on the team. It helped the Braves win with him being on the team this year. They are very lucky to have him and it paid off during the World Series this year.
The World Series is in a seven-game series. They play up to seven or as little as four games. This year these two teams played eight games. The Braves this year won the fourth game while the Astros were only at two. It was a very stressful game. Full of surprises, the Braves were nervous but luckily they kicked butt and won 7-0. It was a shock to all and made this team so incredibly happy.
There are quite a lot of baseball teams, as well as fans to go with them, but the Braves fans are some of the strongest out there. They are so committed that they would root for their team no matter what happened throughout the years. This year's World Series was seriously a shock to most people. Most fans were hoping that the Braves would pull through, which they did.
The Astros have not had the best seasons in the past years as well. Most people know them for cheating in a game against the Dodgers, which is why so many people were rooting for the Braves. It was a good way for fans and the Braves to finally win one for their team. Overall this World Series went just as planned for most of America: the perfect way to end the baseball season.
