Meet Susanna Herrera!

Updated: May 24, 2020

This past December, the Minarets family welcomed Susanna Herrera, the newest addition to the office staff. On January 11th, Herrera marked her one month anniversary of being employed by Minarets High School. She has had previous experience in a school setting by working for the Central Unified School District in Fresno. Creating transcripts is one of the many new duties that Ms. Herrera will take on.

Prior to applying for this position, Herrera had heard of Minarets High School but was not too familiar with it. With one month under her belt, Herrera has picked up on the Minarets’ charm the school is so famously known for (once one is able to experience it). Herrera described the atmosphere as “more of a community feel rather than a government entity.” She also commented on the sense of welcoming and positivity that Minarets projects. One can always find her with a smile on her face.

Herrera states that this position “[is] a great opportunity for me to personally develop,” which also includes many benefits in shaping her career. All in all she is learning new things and improving on other skills. She enjoys interacting with students and is looking forward to “connect[ing] with students on a higher level,” as this was not possible at Central Unified.

Be sure to stop by the office and welcome Ms. Herrera, the newest member of the Minarets family!
