As Minarets, we don't simply have Back to School Night; we have showcase where classes show off projects and parents are able to appreciate their children work.

In room 601, history teacher Ben Regonini showcased student presentations about the governments they created as well as the US Constitution. Great impressions were made Tuesday night as parent of sophomore Michael Guzmen expressed that the evening "involves the parents. I’m glad I chose Minarets because it is more hands-on than other schools”.

Of course, the students got to improve their already impressive presentations and take pride in showing off to their parents. Sophomore Kailey Zapotosky says “I benefited from last time and practiced, fixed my mistakes and make corrections. I stopped saying like and managed to stop laughing when my nerves got to me."

Minarets is happy to be refreshing and holding kids to a high standard so they can succeed. As teacher Regonini described, “the night shows what Minarets can do and how opposite we are from other schools, presenting something that is out to the public and a lot of times kids aren't willing to take that step. It shows our forward thinking and something besides old-school styles.”

Being Mustangs, we are special and we are the future showcase proved so.
